To use GH Education benefits for this, can I just create an account with my github account and have it work?

Developer got accepted for the Student Developer Pack on the third attempt but is facing issues with enrollment status. They need help with confirming their enrollment status and using GitHub Education benefits with their account. To clarify, it is saying I am not renrolled in Student Developer Pack, when in fact, I am.
